Terms of Business

All details of business terms, prices & descriptions of items offered for sale in this shop are current, subject to change without prior notice & replace any previously advertised details.

Our Guarantee

All items advertised on this web site are of original period manufacture unless stated otherwise. We offer a money back guarantee on all of the goods supplied subject to the terms listed below. Should you be unhappy with any item purchased, you should contact us by e mail within 14 days of receipt of the goods. The item can then be returned to us, provided that it is in the condition as sent, for a full refund of the purchase price. If an item is not notified to us within this time, it will be considered as being sold. This does not apply to any goods that have been damaged, disassembled or tampered with after purchase. We supply items for collector's display purposes only & such items are not intended for actual wear or use. We do not guarantee the fitting of any clothing, footwear or headgear, nor their suitability for being worn. Any returned items paid for via Paypal will be refunded via PayPal.

Terms of Gold, Silver and Bronze Used

The expresssions 'Gold', 'Silver' or 'Bronze' relate to, especially in the case of Decorations, to the grade of the award or the appearance or plating finish of metal items and does not imply a solid metal content of this description unless otherwise stated.

Availability of Goods

In the unlikely event that an item has been sold by the time that you place your order, we will inform you by return e-mail.

Delivery Charges

All orders are subject to a delivery, packing & handling charge. The correct charges will be automatically calculated via our Shopping basket ordering system and are based on the total weight of your order, your location and our normal method of despatch. Please be aware that we reserve the right to alter any miscalculation, plus or minus, and you will be notified prior to shipping of any changes.

Overseas Buyers (Buyers located outside the U.K)

All international buyers are responsible for ensuring that the goods they purchase can legally be imported into their country.

All customs duties, import tariffs, taxes, clearance fees, brokerage charges and any other charges imposed by the destination country’s authorities, postal services or courier companies are the sole responsibility of the buyer.

These charges are not included in our prices or shipping costs unless expressly stated otherwise.

Buyers are responsible for complying with their country’s import regulations and for paying any applicable charges promptly to avoid delays, storage fees or the return of their shipment.

We cannot be held responsible for delays, additional charges or customs seizures arising from the destination country’s import regulations, except where responsibility rests with us under applicable law.

Should a shipment be refused, returned or left unclaimed and returned due to unpaid import charges or import restrictions we can offer other goods to the same value in exchange, less any return postage & import costs incurred by us, but are unable to give a refund.

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase goods. We will confirm receipt of your order by email, but this does not mean your order has been accepted. Your order is accepted when we dispatch your goods and send you a dispatch confirmation.

We may decline an order at any time before dispatch — for example, if a product is out of stock or if there is a pricing error. If we decline your order, we will contact you promptly and issue a full refund if payment has been taken.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices shown on our website include VAT and any other applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. We take reasonable care to ensure prices are accurate, but if we identify an error after you have placed an order, we will contact you before proceeding.

Payment must be made in full before your order is dispatched.

5. Delivery

We aim to dispatch orders within the timeframe shown on each product listing. Delivery times are estimates and may vary. We are not responsible for delays outside our control, but we will keep you informed where possible.

6. Your Right to Cancel

As a consumer in the UK, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason. This is your right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

To exercise this right, contact us at [email protected] before the 14-day period ends. You will then need to return the goods at your own cost unless we agree otherwise. We will issue a full refund — including standard delivery charges — within 14 days of receiving the returned items, or evidence they have been sent back, whichever is sooner.

The right to cancel does not apply to:

• Personalised or custom-made items
• Perishable goods
• Digital downloads that have been accessed or downloaded
• Sealed items that have been unsealed after delivery for hygiene reasons

7. Returns and Refunds

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described, please contact us at [email protected] as soon as possible. We will arrange a replacement or full refund, in line with your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

For general returns (where the item is not faulty), items must be returned unused and in their original packaging within 14 days of receipt. Return postage costs are your responsibility unless the item is faulty or not as described.

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — belongs to Fritz and Brits Militaria or is used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content from this site without our prior written consent.

9. Our Liability

We are responsible to you for foreseeable losses that result directly from us breaking these terms or being negligent. We are not responsible for losses that are not foreseeable, or that arise from events outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by these terms.
